I have always been a maker and artist, as well as a collector of found objects. Combining precious metals with reshaped, repurposed materials allows me to share valued, cherished and functional works of art. I hope that wearing my work imbues a feeling of joy, style, color, and meaning to the women who wear my work.

Eco Friendly Jewelry

I believe that through art anything can be transformed. I also believe in making jewelry that will retain value, beauty and style, jewelry that feels comfortable, fresh and contemporary.  Repurposed glass, porcelain, and other found and vintage objects that may seem dated have renewal in each individually hand created piece of jewelry.

Owning wearable pieces of art is a way to express your individuality, make a statement, and inspire conversation. Wearing something you love can create confidence , satisfaction , a sense of empowerment , and even connection. You can also feel good about wearing something of quality that is artist made with respect for the environment in mind.

Trained in art and metalsmithing I am inspired by nature, classical art and modernist design. Simplicity, wearability in art that can be both dressed up or worn daily.  Something you can feel great wearing again and again.

My work is a composite of recycled sterling silver, 18k gold,  repurposed colorful, mostly vintage glass and porcelain, pebbles and sometimes gemstones. I am drawn to using imagery of birds and farmland, both ever more quickly endangered out of existence. Jewelry can be the talisman that reminds us what is meaningful and not to be taken for granted.
